About Rosecliff

We’re not here to play gatekeeper.
We’re here to clear the fog, name the hard stuff, and walk alongside writers building careers that actually reflect who they are.

Rosecliff is a literary agency for authors who crave clarity, strategy, and a little feral encouragement. We blend editorial depth with real-world know-how—and we don’t flinch when things get messy. We’re not chasing trends or trying to look good in a panel clip. We’re doing the work.

Representation here means partnership. Long-haul thinking. And a quiet refusal to accept “that’s just how publishing works.”

You bring the voice. We’ll help carry it forward.

  • Jessica Berg

    FOUNDER / LITERARY AGENT

Jessica Berg is a literary agent, author, and the founder of Rosecliff Literary, where she champions bold, emotionally resonant fiction with unforgettable characters, strong stakes, and a sense of urgency.

She is especially drawn to upmarket, historical, and supernatural suspense, with a soft spot for haunting atmosphere, richly layered relationships, and characters who carry deep emotional wounds. Give her a protagonist standing at the edge of reinvention, a world on the brink of change, or a past that refuses to stay buried. She loves stories that explore grief, longing, ambition, and survival and the complicated ways they intersect. If your book feels like it belongs in a candlelit room with a storm raging outside, she wants to see it.

A multi-nominated writer with an MFA from Spalding University, Jessica brings a sharp editorial eye and a hands-on, strategic approach to agenting. She is a member of AALA and EFA and provides developmental feedback for Writer’s Digest. Represented by Amy Collins at Talcott Notch, she splits her time between crafting her own stories and guiding her clients through every stage of their publishing careers.

Her mission? To champion distinctive voices, build lasting careers, and bring books into the world that demand to be remembered.

Tommy Dean is an Associate Agent at Rosecliff Literary, specializing in mystery, suspense, thrillers, crime fiction, and upmarket fiction with a sharp edge. He is drawn to high-stakes narratives, complex characters, and stories that refuse to be put down.

Crime novels with anti-hero main characters will always get him, as will mystery novels that keep him guessing. • Hailey Stephens

    ASSOCIATE AGENT

Hailey Stephens is an avid reader, writer, and copyeditor with a bachelor's degree in English-Writing from Illinois Wesleyan University, as well as a master's in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University.

She has gained great work experience through different internships over the years. From learning about unscripted television as a Development/Casting intern at Crybaby Media, to becoming a part of the agenting world at ArtHouse Literary Agency, Hailey has and continues to put everything she has into her work and education and hopes to continue putting that energy into the literary world for years to come.

Now agenting at Rosecliff Literary, Hailey is especially interested in uplifting diverse artists from rural communities that may be overlooked by such a metropolis-based industry.

While Hailey's reading tastes include almost everything (she currently favors romance, literary fiction, and creative memoirs), her writing is focused on both creative nonfiction and psychological/supernatural horror.
When not reading or writing, Hailey enjoys exploring her many hobbies.

She's a baker, hiker, puzzler, gamer (board games, card games, D&D, video games-she's open to it all!), cross-stitcher, and so much more.
